Int'l Neuro Surgery Conference Begins

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : The 29th International Neuro-Surgery Conference organized by Pakistan Society of Neuro Surgeons in collaboration with Department of Neuro Surgery, Lahore General Hospital started here on Friday.

Under the chairmanship of president Pakistan Society of Neuro Surgeons, Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra,the three-day conference was attended by prominent experts of neurosurgery, belonging to Pakistan as well as USA, KSA, UK, Japan and other countries.

Professor of Neurosurgery Dr. Khalid Mahmood, the chairman organizing committee of the conference welcome the foreign delegates.

Talking to media, Dr Khalid said that doctors coming from abroad had also brought modern medical equipments and machines to impart practical training to Pakistani doctors.

They conducted training workshop comprising 5 sessions in the Skill Lab established at newly constructed Punjab Institute of Nuero Sciences and imparted practical knowledge to Pakistani young doctors today. Prof Kavaya Ma of Japan has brought a modern fimulator machine with him to impart training of modern methods of neurosurgery, he told.
