Dr. Asim's Bail Application Dispatched To Chief Justice

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : The Sindh High Court (SHC) Friday dispatched the bail application of Dr. Asim Hussain, former petroleum minister, in a corruption reference of Rs 17 billion to the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court.
The court also adjourned hearing of another reference against Dr. Asim pertaining to Rs 462 billion scam. A two-judge bench headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto heared the cases. Former minister Dr.Asim was allegedly involved in illegally awarding gas field contracts, however, the trial court adjourned sine die the hearing of another reference of Rs 462 billion against Dr. Asim.
