Maryam Nawaz hit by camera amid rumpus at Jinnah Hospital

A security guard pushed a cameraman on the hospital’s exit door when the camera hit her.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 23rd February, 2019) Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, was hit by a camera when she arrived in Jinnah Hospital on Saturday to see her ailing father.

A ruckus is always seen as security personnel and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers clash with each other.

However, Maryam Nawaz herself had to face a commotion as a security guard pushed a cameraman on the hospital’s exit door and the camera hit her.

Media reports said that the camera hit Maryam Nawaz. Maryam Nawaz said that the camera had hit her head hard.

Earlier, media reports said that a woman was forcefully taken out of the hospital lift upon previous visit of Maryam Nawaz.

The guards of Maryam Nawaz are often seen misbehaving with the patients and their attendants in the hospital.

Maryam Nawaz also remains silent on the situation and never asks her guards to not cause disturbance to other people.

On Jan 22, Sharif was brought to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) from Kot Lakhpat jail for a medical examination amid tight security. Later he was shifted to Services Hospital and then Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.

The medical board had suggested angiography for Nawaz Sharif.

Media reports said that the former prime minister refused to undergo angiography at all government hospitals, including Jinnah Hospital, where he is currently admitted.

The Punjab Health Secretary has sought details from Jinnah Hospital’s medical board over Nawaz Sharif’s treatment.

Meanwhile, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has denied such reports.

She said that the government’s delay in giving permission for Nawaz Sharif’s angiography is criminal.
