Condolence Reference Held For Departed Soul Of Brig (R) Mehmood Jan

LAKKI MARWAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : A condolence reference Friday was held for father-in-law of former Federal minister, Salim Saifullah, Brig (R) Mehmood Jan at Khazni Khel village who died recently.

Besides politicians, notables of the area attended the reference and offered Fateha for the departed soul. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with patience.

Highlighting services of the late Brig Mehmood Jan, Salim Saifullah Khan said his late father in law rendered great services for the uplift of marwat nation and added approval of marwat platoon in FC was of one of his achievement, in this regard.

He said Brig Mehmood Jan when was commandant FC in 1971 recruited 100 youth of the marwat on application of Hamyun Saifullah Khan who was the then Member Provincial Assembly (MPA).

Other speakers also highlighted services of Brig (r) Mehmood Jan for the country, saying his services would always be remembered.

They said people of the southern districts of the KP especially Lakki Marwat were facing poverty and unemployment despite the fact youth of the area were gifted with excellent talent, therefore, they were of the view the government should make solid steps to create job opportunities for them enabling them to earn livelihood in respectable manner besides contributing effectively to the country's socio-economic development.
