Effective Use Of Resources To Be Ensured For Eradicating Crime: SSP

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Every official of Islamabad police should ensure effective use of official resources and devise comprehensive strategy to eradicate crime.

It was stated by SSP (Operations) Sajid Kiani while chairing a meeting at Rescue 15. The meeting was attended by SP (City) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, SP (Saddar) Zeeshan Haider, Sub-Divisional Police Officers, DSPs Security, CIA and Station House Officers (SHOs) of all police stations in capital.

The SSP directed to ensure arrest of criminals involved in heinous crime by effective use of official resources otherwise they will have to face strict disciplinary action if their performance proved poor.

He said disciplinary action would be initiated against police officials and SHO found involved in sluggish attitude towards resolving public complaints. Sajid Kiani said policing should be made more objective and various steps like patrolling should be effective.

He directed all SHOs to launch massive crackdown against proclaimed offenders and those involved in criminal activities in their respective areas.

Arrest of criminals involved in such heinous crimes must be ensured, he maintained.

SSP (Operations) said an effective strategy is vital to control crime and also ordered to adopt a professional as well as responsible attitude to mitigate the sufferings of the people. He directed to focus on resolving the public complaints, and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens besides inculcating friendly police ecology in the city.

He directed all SHOs to crub street crime and bike as well car lifting. He said police officials responsible in delaying the registration of cases and doing sluggish investigation or corruption would not be spared and strict disciplinary action would be taken against them.

Kiani also directed all police officials performing duties at police stations to improve their performance and address the grievances of the masses on immediate basis following the merit to win the confidence and support of the people for the cops' department.
