UNITED NATIONS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd February, 2019) Venezuela has a meeting pending with US Special Representative for Venezuela Elliott Abrams to discuss the status of American diplomats, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said at a press briefing.
"With respect to the prior agreement we are in discussions and we can only hope that in the days while we are here in New York that there is a meeting pending as suggested by Mr. Elliott Abrams where we would meet," Arreaza said on Friday.
The possible meeting with Abrams will focus on the status of US diplomats in the country, he added.
