Malaysia Wins Men's, Women's Singles Titles In Diplomatic

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Malaysian Diplomat Mohdi Abd Rehman won the men's singles title and his compatriot Noor Haironi clinched the women's singles title in the Diplomatic Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship held at the cosmic Bowling Alley Royal Rodale Club here.
The event was organised by Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi in collaboration with Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association, said a statement on Friday. The diplomats from Consulate of Malaysia, China, Japan and Italy participated.
Mixed trios team event was won by the team comprising Zakaria Derahmon and Fairuz Hidzir of Malaysia and Ahmed Shakhani of Pakistan.
The purpose of the event was to promote the game at all levels, to make it more popular and to give away certain attractive prizes to the winners to boost-up their interest.
Consul General of Malaysia Ismail Mohamad Bkri distributed prizes among the winners and participants. The Consul General, in his address, welcomed all the participants and guests from the friendly countries and reiterated his confidence that the Tournament has contributed to our common efforts in strengthening the friendship and brotherhood.
