Senate Passes Unanimous Resolution Condemning Quetta Terrorist Attack

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Senate on Friday passed a unanimous resolution strongly condemning the terrorist attack on the Police Training Center in Quetta last month.

The resolution moved by Leader of the Opposition in Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the incident.

"This house expresses solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the martyred and early recovery of the injured," the resolution, said.

The house reiterated the commitment to stand by the peace loving people of the country and the security forces for complete elimination of terrorism. The resolution presented to the house also strongly condemned the involvement of the foreign countries in terrorist attacks in the country.
