22 Persons Arrested In Crackdown Against Profiteers

PESHAWAR, Nov.04 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : District administration arrested 22 persons in crackdown against profiteers in Hayatabad, University Town, board Bazaar and Tehkhal areas of Peshawar.
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Riaz Khan Mehsud, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Fazilat Jehan conducted raids in Complex Market, Rohaila Market, Khattak Market, Mohammadzai, Bismillah Market, Afghan Market and Basharat Market and checked different shops.
During the checking, she also inspected different poultry shops and arrested four shopkeepers for profiteering, not displaying price list and poor cleanliness conditions. Similarly, AAC Imran Khan inspected different shops including poultry shops in Board Bazaar, University Town and Tehkal areas and arrested 18 persons for profiteering and not displaying price list.
