Charsadda, Lower Dir, Swabi Advance In Regional Inter-Club Hockey

PESHAWAR, Nov 4 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Rajar Club Charsadda secured victory against Shahbaz Club Nowshera in the ongoing KP Regional Inter-Club Hockey Championship being played here at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium on Friday.

President District Hockey Association Haji Nawar Khan was the chief guest on this occasion. Organizing Secretary and Secretary KP Hockey Association Syed Zahir Shah, President Peshawar District Hockey Association Haji Hidayat Ullah, academy coach Zia Ur Rehman Binori, officials, players and spectators were also present.

At Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium Peshawar, Rajar Club Charsadda recorded victory against Shahbaz Club Nowshera by solitary goal scored by Farid Khan on the field attempt. In the Swat Al-Badar Club of Lower Dir beat Swat Green by 5-4 penalty shoot-out battle before playing a goal-less draw.

Before the start of the match, Secretary Commissioner Malakand, Naeem Akhtar was the chief guest on this occasion. PHF Governing board Member Malik Wadan, Chairman and President District Swat Hockey Association Dr.

Zafar Ali Khan and Shah Naeem and large number of spectators were also present. At Makan Bagh Swat, Al-Badar Club Dir Lower and Swat Green were tied without goal in the first 70-minute play and to get certain result of the match both were awarded five each penalty shoot-out on which Dir Lower won the battle 5-4.

In Mardan Region opening match Shaheen Club Swabi beat Malakand Club by 4-2. Irshad, Fahim scored two goals each for Shaheen Club Swabi while Israr and Inayat Ullah scored one goal each for Malakand Club.
