Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 21st February, 2019) Indan Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat has said that New Delhi will attack Pakistan without a warning.
Responding to the speech of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Indian army chief said, “India will keep quiet on the retaliatory action against Pakistan in wake of the Pulwama attack.”
“Why do you want to inform Pakistan beforehand. This time we will not say anything,” he further said.
Imran Khan, in his response to Indian allegations, warned against threatening Pakistan but offered that Pakistan would act against the perpetrators of the Pulwama terror attack if India shares actionable intelligence.
“You (India) have blamed the Pakistan government without any evidence If you have any evidence, we will act,” Imran Khan had said.
On 14 February 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethpora in the Pulwama district of India-Ocuupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The attack resulted in the death of more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and the attacker. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed. A local youth named Adil Ahmed Dar was identified as the attacker.
Indian media and politicians have since been blaming Pakistan for the attack without any evidence.
India blamed Pakistan for harboring and protecting terrorists, accusing the country of having a "direct hand" in the incident.
Pakistan has, in turn, rejected the allegations of its involvement in the attack and said that this was New Delhi's strategy to divert international attention from human rights violations taking place in the Kashmir region.
