Rescue 1122 Responded To 1560 Emergencies In Oct

SARGODHA, Nov 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Sargodha District Control room of Punjab Emergency Service-Rescue 1122 responded to 1560 emergency calls in October. This was stated by district emergency officer Mazhar Shah while sharing the monthly performance report with the reporters here on Friday.
The average response time remained four minutes and five seconds, he said.
As many as 654 calls of road accidents were responded, 17 fire incidents and 633 medical emergencies. The PES also provided basic life support and disaster management training at several departments, he added.
He said that during the dengue fever season, the service organized several seminars at schools and colleges to spread awareness. He disclosed that nine new emergency services centers were also being established in the division to facilitate people.
