DERA MURAD JAMALI, Nov 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : A young boy Friday was killed on the spot when his motorcycle was hit by a landmine in Lehri area, the Levies Force said.

The Levies officials said that 16-year-old namely Nabeel Ahmed riding bike was on his way from village Tunia Lehri to a water pond to fetch water for home when his motorcycle was hit by a landmine planted on the road.

"The boy suffered critical wounds in the blast and died on the spot," they said. The body was shifted to hospital which later was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. The law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation. Further probe was underway.
