Death Sentence Awarded In Murder Case

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Death sentence has been awarded to a murder convict in a case of Thikriwala police station here on Friday. According to prosecution,Mubasshar Hussain,resident of chak 38-JB, along with his father Munawwar Hussain shot dead one Mubarak Ali, resident of chak 39-JB,over a monetary dispute.
After observing evidences and witnesses,Additional Session Judge Muhammad Yaqoob awarded capital punishment to accused Mubasshar Hussain under section 302-B of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).The convict was also directed to pay Rs.
2 lakh as compensation to legal heirs of the deceased, ,or else undergo additional imprisonment of four months. The court acquitted accused Munawwar Hussain on the benefit of doubt. APP/aar/ia/swf/rn
