BMW reports record third-quarter net profit

FRANKFURT, Nov 4, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) - German luxury carmaker BMW on Friday reported a 15 percent increase in net profits in the third quarter, a new record for the July to September period.

Boosted by increased sales of its BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce cars and its financial services division, the company's bottom line swelled to 1.

8 billion Euros ($2.0 billion) from 1.6 billion euros in the same period in 2015, on revenues of 23.4 billion euros. Analysts surveyed by Factset had predicted net profits would remain stable in the third quarter.
