President Alvi deposits Saudi crown prince's gifts to Toshakhana

The gifts include costly watches, pen and other items.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 19th February, 2019) Setting an example of austerity and simplicity, President Dr Arif Alvi has deposited the gifts he received by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Toshakhana.

The gifts include costly watches, pen and other items.

The custodians of Haram also sent gifts of dates for the needy.

The people of cabinet division and Saudi embassy will distribute the dates among the needy.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman departed on Monday after his two-day visit to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan took the driving seat to drop Saudi Crown Prince back to Nur Khan Airbase.

The Saudi Crown Prince was accorded rousing and warm reception on his arrival in Pakistan.

President Arif Alvi conferred Prince Mohammed bin Salman with country's highest civilian award, Nishan-e-Pakistan, at the President House in a lavish ceremony organized in the honour of the royal dignitary.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Cabinet received the Saudi Crown prince and his high-powered delegation at Nur Khan Airbase on Sunday. The prime minister himself drove him to the PM house, where he received a guard of honour.

Not only that, Riyadh and Islamabad signed agreements worth $20 billion were signed during the visit of Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan.
