Engine Of Karachi Express Derails, Passengers Safe

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -3rd nov,2016) : Engine of a Karachi-bound passenger train derailed while it was approaching Khanewal Junction here late Thursday night, however, passengers remained unhurt.
Railways officials said that no casualty was reported from the site as the train was approaching station at a very low speed.
The train has been put to track after necessary repair work. Railways officials said that Karachi Express was going to Karachi from Lahore when its engine derailed near Khanewal Overhead Bridge.
Chief Operating Superintendent Mehmood Ul Hassan and his staff were also aboard the train. No casualty was reported, officials said.
