MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th February, 2019) The Kremlin is unaware of the situation with Russia's Gazprombank reportedly freezing accounts of Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
Earlier in the day, Reuters reported that Gazprombank had decided to freeze PDVSA's accounts and suspend its transactions in order to reduce possible risks associated with US sanctions. PDVSA refuted the reports.
"We have familiarized ourselves with these reports. We are unaware of anything in this regard," the spokesman said.
