Prime Minister Imran Khan had requested Mohammed bin Salman to provide travel and residence facilities to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 18th February, 2019) The positive results of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan have already started coming as he accepted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request to provide immigration to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in the country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had requested Mohammed bin Salman to provide travel and residence facilities to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Approving the request, the Saudi crown prince has announced that Pakistan Hajj pilgrims will have their immigration for Saudia Arabia done in the country.
No immigration will be required for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims upon arrival at Saudi Arabia.
Special Assistant to prime minister Naeemul Haque made the announcement in a tweet.
“Inshallah 29000 hajis will have their immigration for Saudis done at Karachi airport this year. In arrival at Saudi Arabia no immigration,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in Pakistan on two-day visit, he has ordered the release of Pakistani prisoners in Saudi jails.
Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that the Saudi crown prince while acknowledging the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the immediate release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners Saudi Jails.

Mohammed bin Salman started his tour of South Asia and China with an official two-day visit to Pakistan on Sunday.
The Saudi Crown Prince was accorded rousing and warm welcome on his arrival in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Cabinet received the Saudi Crown prince and his high-powered delegation at Nur Khan Airbase.
A formation of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets escorted the jet of the Crown Prince when it entered the airspace of Pakistan. The Saudi Crown Prince was given a 21-gun salute on his arrival.
Prime Minister Imran Khan himself drove him to the PM House where the Saudi crown prince is staying.
Riyadh and Islamabad signed agreements worth $20 billion were signed during the visit of Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan.
Seven bilateral agreements, mostly energy-related, were signed the presence of the crown prince and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In particular, the parties signed an agreement on the supply of oil and oil products from Saudi Arabia, as well as MOUs on development of oil refining and petrochemistry, electricity and renewable energy sources in Pakistan.
