ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : Managing Director, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Masood Malik Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan was a disappointed person owing to continuing defeats and his disappointment was turning into frustration.
Talking in a tv programme, he said all actions including speeches and statements of Imran Khan were signs of his frustration. He said the matter of Panama papers was in the Supreme Court and Imran Khan should wait for the apex court's decision.
He said Imran Khan formed his own court outside the Supreme Court which was against the constitution and law. To a question, he said PTI was launched as a third party against the two major political parties; Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and it was not an ideological party of the country.
He said Imran Khan had great opportunity to present Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as an example for others but he failed to bring any major change in the province where his party was enjoying power.
Imran badly failed to bring any change because he had no development plan or agenda, he added.
Although the name of Prime Minister was not mentioned in Panama Papers but he presented himself for accountability and a letter was written to Supreme Court in that regard, he said. To another query, he said in a democratic system all the institutions worked within their domain but the problem comes when an institutions crosses its constitutional limits.
He said the country always faced loss when any dictator came in to power. The MD said Parliament had an important role as it did all the legislation, but some of its members disrespected it by abusing other legislators and handing over resignations.
