MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th February, 2019) The founder of Baring Vostok Capital Partners, US national Michael Calvey, and five other people have been detained in Moscow over suspected large-scale fraud, according to the records of a Moscow court.
"The investigation is requesting to put Calvey and five others involved into custody under article 'large-scale fraud committed as part of an organized group,'" Yunona Tsareva, the spokeswoman for the Basmanny court, told Sputnik.
The detainees' defense has not provided any comments to Sputnik yet.
