Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko may play hockey in Sochi later on Friday, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th February, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko may play hockey in Sochi later on Friday, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Sochi is currently hosting a two-day Russian Investment Forum.
"Today, the talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who is here, will continue ... We cannot even exclude that they [Putin and Lukashenko] may decide to play hockey together in the afternoon," Peskov told reporters.
The Kremlin spokesman added that the two leaders would focus on cooperation on education, culture and sport on Friday. According to Peskov, they will be briefed by ministers responsible for these fields.
