3,000 Policemen To Perform Security Duty In Tablighi Ijtima

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf Thursday said around 3,000 police officials, two SPs, six DSPs and 21 inspectors are performing duties in Tablighi Ijtima, Raiwind, in two phases.
He said a special monitoring cell had been set up to meet any emergency and keep eyes on suspects.
The deputed officials were registering participants through bio-metric machines, he added. The DIG said walk through gates, metal detectors, barriers and sniffer dogs were using for security arrangements.
