SOCHI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th February, 2019) Moscow is working with Caracas to find a solution to the political crisis in the Latin American country in conformity with the Venezuelan Constitution, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Thursday."We are working on a calm, peaceful, constitutional solution to this situation in line with the Venezuelan Constitution," Ryabkov said.
According to Ryabkov, if a "color revolution" and external interference are avoided, then "the legitimate government will be able to continue the work on overcoming internal problems in dialogue with the opposition, there are constructive forces in the opposition."
"We think that external actors that understand the bias of a one-sided approach, the harmfulness of violence and the use of humanitarian aid as a means of pressure, that these actors can become an essential element of a more sensible approach," Ryabkov explained.
