Parliamentary Sub-committee On Electoral Reforms Meets

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : A meeting of the Sub-committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms was held here on Thursday. The Committee meeting which was chaired by Minister for Law and Justice, Zahid Hamid received detailed briefing from officials of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on various matters.

The committee was informed by the officials of Election Commission of Pakistan on progress made so far regarding procurement of Electronic Voting Machines and Biometric Voter Identification. The committee also discussed draft of unified election laws and elections rules besides consideration of observations of Election Commission on Draft Unified Election Act, 2016.
