District Administration Haripur Opens Blocked KKH At Derwesh Haripur

HARIPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : District Administration Haripur on Thursday successfully negotiated with the students of Haripur University those have blocked Karakoram Highway (KKH) at Haripur.

According to the details, upon killing of two students of Hazara University in Mansehra, students of university of Haripur by agitating the killings blocked Karakoram Highway at Darwesh Haripur in the morning for around 1 hour.

District Administration through Qaisar Khan Additional Assistant Commissioner Haripur intervened in the matter and after successful negotiations highway got opened for traffic. After the blockage miles long queues of stranded vehicles were seen on both sides of the KKH.
