IGP For Security Plan On Chehlum Of Hazrat Imam Hussain

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja has called for preparing contingency plan for security on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain to be observed on November 21.
He directed here on Thursday that the contingency plan should be submitted for perusal as well as necessary action.
The IGP asked all the police stations in the province especially those in Karachi to ensure two hours' snap checking daily after Maghrib.
He also called for coordination at the level of police station to police station as well as sharing of information regarding crimes so that criminals be nabbed red-handed. The IGP also instructed that picketing and patrolling by the police personnel be ensured and security be also beefed up at the central mosques, Imambarghas and minorities' places of worship besides public places and important buildings.
