Farmers advised to cultivate off-season vegetables

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The cultivation of off-season vegetables through tunnel farming technology is very useful for enhancing per acre yield and farmers' income.

This was stated by Director Vegetables Department Ayyub Agriculture Research Institute Faisalabad Muhammad Najeebullah during meeting with farmers here on Thursday.

He said per acre yield of vegetables could be enhanced by sowing hybrid seeds vegetables.

He added that vegetables like tomato, red chilli, capsicum, cucumber and bitter guard could be cultivated in off-season through tunnel farming technology.
