Edhi Foundation Provides Free Treatment To 9,658 Patients In October

LAHORE, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The Edhi Foundation Lahore has provided free treatment services and medicines to 9,658 patients at its free dispensary, situated in Allama Iqbal Town, during the last month (October).
The Foundation shifted 90 bodies and 159 injured persons to their homes from hospitals during different accidents in the metropolis, said a spokesman on Thursday.
The Edhi volunteers shifted 1,123 bodies and 4,972 patients to hospitals from houses and vice versa, during the same period.
The foundation buried 33 unclaimed bodies. The Foundation admitted 213 persons including women and children to Edhi Home Gulberg and Bilquess Edhi Home Township, out of which 126 persons were sent to their homes after searching their home addresses. The Foundation provided free meals to 12,394 people from Edhi free lungar, the spokesman added.
