ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday acquitted a person allegedly involved in murder case after hearing detailed arguments of the counsel of the appellant.
The accused Tahir Nomi challenged the decision of the lower court which awarded him life time imprisonment in a murder case.
Justice Mohsan Akhtar Kiani heard the case and acquitted him as the counsel of the petitioner, Saifullah Sarohi argued that nothing was recovered from his client.
He said the lower court had already acquitted other nominated accused in the case. He added that the weapon of offence was recovered from another house, which had no connection with his client. He prayed the court to set aside the decision of the lower court and acquit his client. APP/wsj/mir
