Fried Fish In Demand To Welcome Winter Season

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : As the temperature is going down a great surge is being witnessed in the sale of fish in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The people have started enjoying fried fish other items which are high in demand to welcome winter season. Various kinds of fish including Simon, Pamphlet, Black Raho, Mushka, Mahsher and Lobsters are being served at the stalls at Chota Bazar, Committee Chowk, Commercial Market, Super Market, Jinnah Super Market and different restaurant of twin cities.
People come to these fish outlets to enjoy fish and winterseason with their family and friends. Health expert Dr Sarah Adnan said,"Fish is a great source of protein and it can be a cure for many diseases.
People suffering from heart diseases, high-blood pressure and diabetes should use white meat as part of their treatment.
" "Fish is generally considered to be among the best foods you can eat for a healthy heart.
To meet omega-3 requirements, eating fatty fish at least once or twice a week is recommended.It may also help with other mental disorders, such as bipolar disorder", she told. "Some fish oils, such as cod liver oil, are also very high in vitamin D, providing more than 200% of the recommended intake in a single tablespoon," she added.
A fish dealer told APP that Rawal Dam and Simly Dam are two major points for fishing in the twin cities. The main hub of fish in the twin cities is Kamran market and the market at Ganj Mandi. Fried fish seller Ramzan Ali said I have been doing this business for the last several years at Commercial Market and Saddar.
