Choice International Twenty20 Cricket Cup From Nov 6

PESHAWAR, Nov 3 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The first edition of the Choice International Twenty20 Cricket Cup will be commencing from November 6, 2016 here at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium with top 16 teams will compete.
This was stated by Organizing Secretary Shafique Ur Rehman while talking to media men here during an open trials session organized for the selection of Choice Cricket Club for the forthcoming Twenty20 Tournament.
He disclosed that all arrangement in this connection have already been completed. He also lauded Director General Directorate of sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ms. Rashida Ghaznavi for extending support to the organizing committee.
The said the Choice International team would be part of the Twenty20 Cup. For the selecting of the team he said Pakistan Cricket board qualified coach Rehmat Gul and KP Sports Board Coach Irfan Uddin Din Babo nominated as selectors.
He said the winners and runners-up teams along with best batsmen, best bowler, best fielders and best all-rounders would be awarded with trophies and cash prizes.
The Twenty20 Cup will be played in colour-kit and white ball.
He assured that best available resources would be given to the players during the Twengty20 Cup. The aim and objective of the Cup, Shafiqur Rehman, said that to provide a chance to the upcoming players to come up and show their hidden talent.
He said Choice International is come up to support players associated with various games including cricket. About the selection of the team, he disclosed that a total of 114 players turned up for the open trials wherein 22 players were short-listed to represent Choice International Club in the Cup.
The Names of the selected players comprising Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Azam Khan, Mamoon Khan, Khan Zaib, Muhammad Waqar, Alamzeb, Abdul Nazir, Muhammad Haroon, Bilal Khan, Zakir Farhad, Muhammad Nouman, Ammad Khan, Amin Jan, Sajjad Ibrahim, Zeeshan, Muhammad Ilyas Kazmi, Muhammad Riaz, Salman Shah, Abdullah, Babar Khan, Shah Zaib, and Asif Khan.
Irfan Uddin Babo and Rehmat Gul would impart training and coaching to the Club. APP/ijz/bmq
