Railways Makes Quranic Education Compulsory In Its Schools, Colleges

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan Railways has made compulsory the Quranic education including Nazira and translation of Holy Quran, at all schools and colleges of the department.
The decision was taken under a new policy of the Federal Ministry of Education, an official in the Ministry of Railways told APP on Thursday.
He said that Pakistan Railways had taken this decision after a meeting between officials of the Federal Education Ministry and PR Director General Education.
Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, parents and teachers of the Pakistan Railways institutions, have appreciated the decision.
