PDA Launches Crackdown Against Encroachments On Ring Road

PESHAWAR, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has launched crackdown against encroachments and illegal structures on both sides of the ring road for ensuring smooth flow of traffic.
On the directives of Director General PDA, Additional Assistant Commissioner Basheer Ahmed and Director Vigilance PDA, Najeeb Afridi along with relevant staff bulldozed dozens illegal structures and removed encroachments between GT road to Charsaddda road for smooth flow of traffic.
The encroachments have created a lot of problems for motorists and often blocked the busy Ring Road that connect posh Hayatabad with Peshawar City, they said. The bulldozed structures include two petrol pumps, cabins, hotels and other encroachments. They warned the encroached mafia of strict action in case of non removal of illegal structures. APP/fam/anm
