Pak Wrestlers To Participate In CW C'ship

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan will be participating in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held in Singapore from November 4 to 7.
Talking to APP, Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF), Secretary Arshad Sattar said the Pakistan contingent for the championship includes eight wrestlers and three officials. He said the Wrestling team will depart to Singapore on Thursday.
The contingent includes Muhammad Bilal (57kg), Abdul Wahab (61kg), Muhammad Mudassir (65kg), Abdul Rehman (70kg), Asad Butt (74kg), Muhammad Inam Butt (86kg), Ameer Tariq Butt (97kg) and Zaman Anwar Arif (125kg).
The officials' comprise Khalid Yaqoob (team manager), Sohail Rashid (coach) and Faheem Anwar (referee). "The wreslters training camp was underway here at the Pakistan sports Complex but it was shifted to Lanore in the last week of October due to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Protest call on November 2," he said.
He said he has high hopes from the wrestlers to perform well in the tournament. APP/vad/aa/bmq
