Death Toll In Trains' Collision Rises To 19

KARACHI, Nov 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The death toll in trains' collision at Juma Goth near Karachi has risen to 19 while 60 people were injured. This was stated by Incharge of Emergency Department of the Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, Dr Seemin Jamali on Thursday.
She said that 17 bodies were brought to the hospital whereas two of the injured died at the Emergency Department of JPMC. Dr Jamali said that some 60 people sustained injuries in the train accident.
Farid Express bound for Karachi was stationary at Juma Goth when it was hit from the rear by Zakariya Express which was also heading for Karachi. Commissioner Karachi, Ejaz Ahmed Khan, told media persons that the rescue operation has been completed. He also maintained that there was no delay in the rescue operation.
