Hong Kong stocks end morning on a low

HONG KONG, Nov 3, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) - Hong Kong stocks extended their losses in the morning session Thursday, with investors concerned about uncertainty over the US presidential election.

The Hang Seng index shed 0.

12 percent, or 28.29 points, to 22,782.21 by the break. But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.57 percent, or 17.79 points, to 3,120.5 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.79 percent, or 16.30 points, to 2,076.35.
