Funds Approved For Schools Upgradation, Road Schemes

KHANEWAL(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : The Punjab government approved Rs 135 million for upgradation of 10 schools and different road schemes in the district. In a meeting of district development committee, presided over by DCO Zahid Bin Maqsood, here on Wednesday, it was decided that 10 primary schools would be upgraded with a cost of Rs 50 million in NA-156.
These schools include Government Primary school Chak 11-Ghugh, Government Boys Primary School, Government Model Primary School 12/D, Government Primary School Hosi, Government Model Primary School Chak 5/D, Government Boys Primary School Chak 8/D, Government Primary School Aulukh Sindhu-1, Government Girls Primary School Chak 25-Ghugh, Government Primary School Choki Haraj, Government Boys Primary School Jallar Daultana, and Primary School Mustpur.
Similarly, the development committee also approved funds for different road schemes in the constituency. The DCO also approved Pile Foundation Sindhai Canal worth Rs 7.1 million. The development committee also stressed the need for use of quality material in these schemes.
