HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : The Sindh High Court Wednesday ordered the police to submit report within five days about the newborn stolen from Liaquat University Hospital on October 10.
In a petition filed by Sakeena Mallah, mother of the stolen newborn, Hyderabad Circuit Bench ordered the Hyderabad police to submit report on November, 7.
The petitioner pleaded that an unidentified woman took away her newborn son from the hospital where she was admitted after giving birth to the baby.
She complained that the police and the hospital's administration were not making serious efforts for recovery of her child even though many CCTV cameras were installed inside the hospital and which can help identify the woman who stolen the child.
The court also issued notices to the respondents including SSP Hyderabad, Medical Superintendent of LUH, Additional MS LUH and SHO Market police station.
