IESCO Recovers 1,736,187 Units From Defective Meters In Oct

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has recovered some 1,736,187 units from slow and defective meters across the region during October.
Briefing IESCO Chief Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan, Regional Manager Meter and Testing (M&T) Fayyaz Khattak told that after necessary working and confirmation retrieved units would be charged from the concern consumers.

Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan chaired Metering & Testing (M&T) Directorate Monthly progress review meeting here Wednesday. The IESCO Chief said that it has been a story of past when replaced meters were returned to store without any checking.
Presently each and every replaced meter was being checked in IESCO Metering & Testing Lab under the supervision of Regional Manager M&T. The CEO appreciated all M&T teams for giving good progress. He directed Metering & Testing Team to check every meter installed at any premises.
