PEF To Conduct Third Party Validation Of PSSP Phase-1 Schools

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has decided to hold third party validation of phase one of Public School Support Programme (PSSP). The purpose of this initiative is to examine the performance and overall institutional transparency.
Managing Director Punjab Education Foundation Tariq Mahmood said this while presiding over weekly coordination meeting at his office on Wednesday. Deputy Managing Directors, Program Directors and different officials attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the organizational performance in detail. It was observed that PEF has been very successful in reaching-out to the low-income segments in different districts.
While underscoring the increasing importance of information and communication technologies for improving organizational output, PEF MD said that the official website was very important for dissemination of different sorts of information to the public.
The meeting maintained that the foundation had made its mark as the quality service provider in the field of school education. It recommended that besides acquiring building fitness certificates from the school partners, the standard of different educational facilities should also be examined, so that the teachers and students could enjoy congenial, safe and secure atmosphere for education.
