At Least 16 People Killed Due to Landslides in West Bolivia - Reports

At least 16 people were killed in two landslides in western Bolivia over the weekend, media reported on Monday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th February, 2019) At least 16 people were killed in two landslides in western Bolivia over the weekend, media reported on Monday.

The first mudslide crashed down on the road between the city of Caranavi and village of Yolosita on Saturday, with the second one occurring at the same place the following day, according to La Razon newspaper.

Caranavi Mayor Daniel Paucara said that 16 people were killed during the first mudslide, while 60 or 70 people were injured.

Casualties caused by the second landslide have not been reported yet.
