Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 4th February, 2019) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who is currently under-treatment at Services Hospital, has demanded to be shifted back to jail.
Media reports said that Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Services Hospital despite it not having a cardiac ward.
Expressing reservations over the hospital, Nawaz Sharif said he is getting nothing but mental torture here. Therefore, he should be shifted back to jail.
Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Services Hospital on Saturday after the Interior Department Punjab allowed his medical treatment.
Several medical tests were conducted on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Services Hospital, Lahore on Sunday.
Multiple tests, including blood test and urine test were conducted at the hospital. The reports of the tests were later examined by a medical board.
The medical reports had revealed of a kidney stone.
A request to conduct cardiac examination of the former prime minister was also sent to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
Meanwhile, a hearing on the bail petition of Nawaz Sharif on medical grounds will be held on February 6, Wednesday, in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The IHC had earlier sought all medical reports of former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in a petition seeking his release on bail and suspension of his imprisonment sentence in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference
