Modi wears Jinnah cap on Kashmir visit  

Kashmiris had staged a protest against the Indian prime minister’s visit as a number of Kashmiris have lost their lives at the hands of Indian forces.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 4th February, 2019) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Indian Occupied Kashmir on Sunday.

There was complete shutdown in Kashmir on the call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership on Modi’s visit, while authorities had suspended mobile internet facilities.

Kashmiris had staged a protest against the Indian prime minister’s visit as a number of Kashmiris have lost their lives at the hands of Indian forces and their atrocities.

Modi inaugurated several projects in Leh and also laid foundation stones of various developmental projects in Jammu and Srinagar.

He held public meetings in Kashmir. In one of those gatherings, Modi started his speech in the local language ‘Kashmiri’ to engage with the audience.

Not only that, Modi also wore a Jinnah cap during his visit to impress the people of Kashmir.

In one of his addresses during the visit, Modi said, “We will tackle every terrorist in a befitting way. We will break the backbone of terror in Jammu and Kashmir and fight it with all our might.”
