She is the first woman from Malakand Division to be appointed as an ASI in Chitral Police.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 3rd February, 2019) Assistant Sub Inspecter (ASI) Dilshad Pari who is serving in Chitral Police has secured first position in the departmental exam of PASI intermediate course of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
She is the first woman from Malakand Division to be appointed as an ASI in Chitral Police.
Adding another feather to her cap, she has become the only police officer from KP to secure a prominent position for the third time.
Dilshad Pari was born in Boni on November 5, 1989. Her father also served in KP Police.
She has done her Masters in Chemistry besides LLM and a diploma in physical education.
Although Pari has in her childhood wanted to become a doctor for their lack in Chitral, she was also passionate about joining the police services.
Women continue to show their mettle in police force as earlier the KP government appointed Hamida Bano as the first female police officer in its Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
The grade-17 police officer will serve as deputy superintendent of police (DSP) in the CTD.
