ABU DHABI (Pakistan Point News – 29th January) Cross cultural communication conference 2019 was held at Zayed University. Scholars hailing from 22 different countries participated in the conference. Culture, language, media issues, social media governance and media ethics were the topics that were widely discussed during the conference.
Representing Pakistan at the conference, COMSATS University Assistant Professor Sohail Riaz Raja presented his research paper which was lauded by the participants of the event.
In his research paper, renowned Pakistani media scholar Sohail Riaz Raja highlighted the cultural and media landscape of Pakistan. While talking to journalists, Sohail Raja said that such events not only help scholars to promote soft image of their countries but also play vital role in establishing contact between universities of different countries. He furthered thanked Prof dr Raheel Qammar Rector COMSATS University and Prof dr. Qaisar abbas Director Lahore Campus for their guidance and support.
