KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th January, 2019) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on changing the jurisdiction of religious communities, which may deprive the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of its churches, the presidential press service said Monday."The law envisions mechanisms that will establish how exactly a religious organization may change its subordination to religious centers [departments] operating in Ukraine and abroad," the statement says.
