Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 26th January) In a heart-breaking news, New York-based chef Fatima Ali lost her battle to cancer on Friday.
In 2017, the New York-based chef was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of cancer which grows in the bones or the soft tissue surrounding the bones.
The 29-year-old chef had revealed in October that her battle with Ewing’s sarcoma was not over despite a surgery meant to help her.
In her last post, Fatima had requested for prayers as she was getting sicker.
After revealing her cancer had returned after undergoing surgery, former “Top Chef” contestant Fatima Ali had shared a photo of herself with a request for prayers from fans. In the picture, she had almost no hair, but was smiling in a hospital bed.
“I know it’s been ages since I posted and most may have figured out why. I’m sick and unfortunately I’m getting sicker,” she said.
“Right now all I need are prayers; prayers that are simple. I hope, because a wish is putting on too much responsibility on the other, that you will somehow find forgiveness in your big heart for whenever I must have hurt you,” she continued.
Fatima thanked her followers a million times over for when they have given me joy, adding that she’ll try to keep everyone updated the best that she possibly can.
