Gas explosion claims one life, injures four

At least one person was killed and four others sustained serious injuries as house-roof collapsed due to a gas explosion in the area of Gulzarpura in Hafizabad on Friday

HAFIZABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2019 ) :At least one person was killed and four others sustained serious injuries as house-roof collapsed due to a gas explosion in the area of Gulzarpura in Hafizabad on Friday.

According to rescue sources, the ill-fated incident occurred due to gas leakage from a cylinder, adding, the cylinder was not turned off tightly and got fire when the victim lit a match stick.

The sources said the firefighters reached at the spot and the injured were taken to anearby hospital.
