Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 23rd January, 2019) Fatima Bhutto, the granddaughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, has denied the reports of joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Fatima Bhutto said that such reports are completely baseless and lack truth.
She further said that nobody has the right to speak on her behalf. She went on to say that the Bhutto family has rendered many sacrifices for the country.
Ealier there were reports that Fatima Bhutto, along with her brother Junior Zulfikar Bhutto are going to join PTI.
According to a media report, a businessman and close friend of Prime Minister Imran Khan had contacted the two and invited them to join the PTI. The party also offered Ghinwa Bhutto to join the party but she still has some reservations which she will address after directly talking to the prime minister.
The report said that Imran Khan wanted to include Fatima Bhutto to his party during 2018 elections but Ghinwa Bhutto had demanded greater number of seats.
It said that a businessman friend in Europe directly spoke to Fatima Bhutto and decided all the matter.
Imran Khan had reportedly offered to hand over Sindh to Fatima Bhutto and has also promised her to resolve her property dispute with Asif Ali Zardari.
Fatima Bhutto has however termed these reports baseless and denied them.
